EP 1: (NO) THANKS FOR STOPPING IN
It’s one year post-graduation and Aya is…coasting. Feeling a little stuck maybe. Stagnant? Complacent? During her undergrad, she picked up a job at Chell’s Bells, Whistles, and Spells, a local spell-shop so she could get an extra inside peek at the magic and to help pay her way through school. Now she’s just not sure what to do next and feeling like she needs to do something…more. But when closing up shop one night like any other, an angry customer pushes their way in and curses Aya, suddenly setting off a chain reaction of interpersonal reckonings and, you know, a curse she now has 24 hours to deal with.
EP 2: A CHIMERIC NOTION
Halfway through the night, and having pissed off and driven away her friend Cam who was trying to help, Aya finds herself somewhat trapped in Cam’s apartment with Cam’s new friend Nik that she barely knows while her phone rings off the hook because Dad won’t stop calling. Stuck because of a spell-gone-wrong, the two find themselves having to work together—through the awkwardness of no mutual friend tissue to connect them—to try and fix the botched spell so they can get back to focusing on the curse. Hopefully nothing else goes wrong.
